Description

Set with a step-cut emerald weighing 4.07 carats, within a baguette and trapezoid diamond surround, flanked by two trapezoid step-cut diamonds weighing 0.60 and 0.58 carat, mounted in platinum, size 6¼.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 18051029, dated 7 May 2018, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancement. Further accompanied by two GIA dossiers no. 1233991555 and 5233991541, both dated 14 October 2016, stating that the 0.60 and 0.58 carat diamonds are both D Colour, SI2 and SI1 Clarity respectively. For further details, please refer to the reports. Stamped PT950 for platinum, 4.07ct referring to the weight of the emerald, and D2.41ct referring to the total weight of the diamonds. Emerald of medium green colour and medium strong saturation, under 10x magnification there are typical inclusions with some surface reaching, and a few nicks. Smaller diamonds are bright and lively. Metal in almost as new condition. Overall in excellent good condition.
