Description

Set with a circular-cut padparadscha sapphire weighing 3.11 carats, within a brilliant-cut diamond frame, surrounded by pear-shaped paraiba tourmalines, mounted in 18 karat white gold, size 6¼.

Condition

Accompanied by GRS report numbered GRS2017-058307, dated 9 May 2017, stating that the padparadscha sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indication of thermal treatment, further stating that the colour is pink-orange (GRS-type "Sunset"). For further details, please refer to the report. Stamped 750 for 18k white gold, and 1.73ct referring to the total weight of the paraíba tourmalines. Padparadscha sapphire is medium light tone, pink-orange colour and medium saturation, eye-clean, under 10x magnification, there are very minor typical inclusions, one slightly surface reaching at the pavilion, one very minor chip at the girdle but not visible to naked eye. Paraíba tourmalines are of medium light tone, mainly greenish blue with a few blue colour, and light medium to medium light saturation, under 10x magnification, there are typical inclusions, some nicks and abrasions, but not visible to naked eye. Diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of very minor wear to the metal. Overall in very good condition.
