The sheet has been laid down onto a piece of card, which is, in turn, adhered to the mount with two tabs of adhesive tape at the upper edge. The sheet is cut diagonally at the upper right corner, just visible in the present mount, with associated small repaired tears to either side. There is an area towards the centre of the right edge that appears to be a repaired cut to the sheet, with one possible further instance to the proper right of the woman's skirt. There is some light creasing to the lower right corner and one or two minor repaired tears to the right edge, none of which are visible in the present mount. There is staining to the sheet in line with a previous mount and remnants of previous adhesive tape to the left edge. There is time staining to the sheet and fading to the ink. There is light surface dirt and a few flecks of foxing.
The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a painted wooden frame.
