Condition

There is an area of historic damage and restoration to the flaring rim, measuring approximately 4cm. in length, with a corresponding hairline which results in a low, dull sound when struck. This restoration is difficult to detect with the naked eye, and has been very sensitively executed. Elsewhere there are minor instances of pitting to the glaze, visible upon very close inspection and in keeping with the nature of the artist's techniques and materials. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition. Although not immediately noticeable this aforementioned restoration is visible under ultraviolet light.
