Condition

The sculpture appears sound. There is a slight vertical crack to the upper centre of the front of the sculpture and a further vertical crack towards the lower right edge of the work that appears to have been historically filled, with a further more minor vertical crack to the upper right, with a few further very minor cracks and historic in-fillings elsewhere. There are a few tiny nicks along the back edge with a few tiny losses and one tiny loss to the surface just beneath this. To the back of the sculpture there are some uneven areas to the surface that appears to be inherent to the work. There is light surface dust. This excepting, the work appears in very good overall condition. The sculpture is affixed to the Artist's wooden base.
