Condition
The work is composed of one smaller board laid down on to a larger support; both of these appear to be sound. There is a small amount of paint loss in the extreme lower left corner of the larger board. The smaller board has a small number of tiny nicks and scuffs to the extreme edges in places, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There are a small number of very light scuffs to both boards, only visible upon close inspection. There are some instances of studio matter and some minor accretions. This excepting the work appears to be in excellent overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals some very fine areas of fluorescence in the extreme corners of the larger board. The boards are held within the Artist's integral aluminium slip frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
