Moitié de billet de 500 francs déchiré en son centre (88 x 96 mm), et portant cet envoi autographe signé : "Merdeà BribriGainsbourg". Le 11 mars 1984, dans l'émission 7/7 présentée par Jean-Louis Burgat, Serge Gainsbourg brûla un billet pour condamner "le racket des impôts", précisant que l'impôt "c'est pas pour les pauvres, c'est pour le nucléaire". Cette image reste gravée dans toutes les consciences sans toujours être bien interprétée. Prémédité, fait "sobrement", ce geste était une provocation autant contre le fort taux de taxation mais également et surtout contre le problème de redistribution. Ce "coup" est aujourd'hui définitivement associé à l'image provocatrice et contestataire de Serge Gainsbourg. Notre billet déchiré a été offert à une amie du chanteur, Brigitte, au cours d’un déjeuner en 1988. Le chanteur avait plaisanté sur son style de coiffure et il lui avait donné ce billet pour qu’elle s’achète une brosse à cheveux. Provenance : offert en 1988 à l'actuelle propriétaire.
