Description

Claw-set with a rectangular cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 10.28 carats within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, size 48 (sizing band), signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum, maker's mark, gross weight 10.32 grams, fitted case signed Van Cleef & Arpels.

Condition

Accompanied by LFG report no. 196714, dated 05 January 2012, stating that the sapphire measuring 17.09 x 12.28 x 4.48mm is of Ceylon origin, with no indication of heat. Signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, numbered 18770. Stamped OR 750, French assay mark for 18 carat gold and platinum. Maker's mark for Van Cleef & Arpels (VCA Vendôme Column). Overall in good condition. Gross weight 10.62 grams.
