Designed as a flower, its petals of carved conch shell, the centre designed as a cluster of pear-shaped amethysts, cabochon turquoises, circular- and step-cut citrines and brilliant-cut diamonds, measuring approximately 119 x 105 x 45mm, signed Sterlé, numbered, French assay marks for 18 carat gold, gross weight 77.32 grams.

Condition

Signed STERLE PARIS, numbered 4472. Light stains of glue at the reverse of the brooch, close to the peduncles, one little break on one pedicule at the reverse. Scratches consistent with age and wear. Overall in good condition, gross weight 77.32 grams.
