Asking Price: $1,350,000The oval stand resting on six scroll feet surrounded by garlands and festoons, the border of the stand applied with a frieze of laurel leaves and berries, the center with a frieze of vines and grapes and centered with an acanthus flower, engraved under the base N°2 23M 1M 5M A BOULLIER FECIT 1778, the body resting on four scroll and foliage feet surmounted by Ceres's heads dressed with corn ears, vines and grapes, the handles chased with vines and grapes, the body applied with fruit garlands surrounding two coats-of-arms below a duke's coronet with motto ANTE MARE UNDAE, engraved on the inner edge A BOULLIER FECIT 1778 N°2 21M 7M 5M, the cover with borders chased with gadroons and acanthus, the cover finial modeled as a large corn sheaf surrounded with four cornucopiae joined with garlands, engraved inside N°1 12 60, the plain liner with foliage handles, engraved under the border 2 3M 5O 3; in fitted wood case probably, the latter probably early 19th century
