Description

  • 35 1/2  by 26 in. (89.5 by 66 cm.)
with Vairocana seated in the center in dhayanasana on a lotus throne wearing a patchwork robe with jeweled halos behind, elaborate flora and foliage decorating the throne, his hands are held at heart level, the deity surrounded by a multitude of smaller Buddhas in various mudras all outlined in red on gold ground

Condition

In very good overall condition. With some creasing and very minor abrasions throughout. A hairline 1 inch tear extending vertically in top left quadrant. Another crease and tear about 2 inches extending horizontally from the proper left forehead of central image through the halo and aureole.
