  • Height 20.5 cm
seated on a double lotus base in vajraparyakasana with hands in dhyanamudra and holding a bhumpa decorated with semi-precious gems, wearing ornamented jewelry around the wrists, upper arms, with earrings and crown framing the arched eyes brows and urna and highlighting the gentle expression of the face  Himalayan Art Resources item no. 13614.

Condition

Overall good condition for this type of object and age. With visible areas of polychromy in the hair and along the back base of the bronze. With several missing precious stones throughout. Areas of abrasions and accretion throughout. Losses to gilding. particularly on the face, as visible in catalogue illustration. A sticker adhered to the front and center of the object stating "17". Original base intact.
