Condition
The canvas is not lined. Inspection under UV light reveals a small number of tiny flecks of retouching to the extreme edges. There is a faint horizontal stretcher bar mark visible on the boy's jacket, and some fine lines of craquelure in places. There is also a tiny paint loss to the centre of the extreme upper edge. There is a slightly discoloured varnish and some light surface dirt. This work is in overall good condition.
