Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down and taped to the mount along the upper edge and the upper half of the left and right edges. The left and right edges of the sheet are deckled and the lower right corner has been unevenly torn which is inherent to the sheet. There is skinning to the paper along the left edge, in the centre of the composition between the heads, and towards the lower right corner, all of which appear to be inherent to the artist's process. There is also an area of studio staining in the lower right quadrant. The sheet is slightly time-stained and there are some faint spots of foxing throughout. There are some very minor handling marks most notably along the upper edge. This work is in overall good condition.
