Condition

The canvas is lined, and inspection under UV light reveals some very sensitively executed fine lines of retouching to some historic areas of craquelure, some spots of retouching to the extreme edges, and one 3cm-long line of retouching in the lower left quadrant. There is a fine pattern of craquelure and paint shrinkage across the surface of the work and this all appears to be stable. There are some lost impasto tips. The work is in overall good condition.
