Condition
The canvas is not lined. Inspection under UV light reveals a layer of varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however there appears to be two spots of retouching to the torso of the figure and at the centre of the upper edge. There is a pin-dot sized pigment loss to the knee of the figure at the lower part of the right edge. There are fine lines of craquelure to the white impasto to the neck of the figure in the upper right quadrant. This work is in overall good condition.
