Condition

The canvas is lined. Examination under UV light reveals retouching along all four edges. There are scattered areas of retouching to the white pigments of the body of one of the figures and small spots to the blue pigments of the background, as well as areas of discoloured varnish to the composition. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
