Condition

Executed on paper and mounted on canvas. Examination under UV light reveals minor spots of paint loss with associated retouching to the bouquet, notably in the central red flower. There are two fine, retouched tears to the sheet approximately 2cm intersecting in the background of the upper right quadrant, as well as a fine 2cm long horizontal tear to the background of the lower left quadrant. There are further minor spots of retouching in places to the background, to one of the leaves at the left of the bouquet, as well as a thin line of retouching to the body of the vase. There are a few further scattered fine surface scratches and minor nicks with associated spots of paint loss in places. This work is in fairly good overall condition.
