Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is some minor frame abrasion along the top edge. There is some very minor pigment shrinkage in the black pigments of the composition. Under UV inspection, a thick layer of varnish makes the reading difficult. There are strokes of inapinting between the figure's inner thighs. There is a stroke of inpainting measuring two inches in length in the black pigment to the right of the figure's proper left thumb. There are minor strokes of inpainting on the figure's proper left calf. There is a stroke of inpainting measuring one inch in length in the black outline along the figure's proper right thigh. The work is in good condition.
