Condition

The canvas is not lined. The surface of the canvas is dirty overall. There is a vertical stretcher bar mark across the length of the canvas. There is craquelure to the areas of thickest impasto in the white and yellow pigments of the central flowers. Varnish has pooled slightly around the flowers in the center of the canvas. There are pindot areas of loss to the center of the right edge and to the lower left corner. Under UV light: Inpainting is present along the length of the top and left edges. An additional area of inpainting approximately 1/2 inch in diameter is present along the center of the left edge. Some original pigments fluoresce. This work is in overall good condition.
