Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant. Light wear is present along the extreme edges of the canvas. Under raking light inspection, an isolated area of very fine spiderweb craquelure measuring four inches in diameter becomes apparent in the upper right quadrant, as well as a few isolated vertical lines measuring less than two inches in the left quadrants. Three small isolated half-circle areas of very fine spiderweb craquelure become apparent along the extreme upper center edge, measuring one by six inches in size. However, all of these areas are stable. Under ultraviolet light inspection, fluorescence occurs throughout due to the media selected by the artist.
