This work has not been recently restored. It is currently lined onto a heavy piece of cotton duck with wax as an adhesive. The texture of the paint layer has been compromised by the wax lining. The paint layer is quite noticeably varnished. Under ultraviolet light, there are two retouches in the bottom of the white bowl in the upper right, and a couple of other spots in the same bowl. There are four or five small retouches in the upper left. There is a retouch in the label on the wine bottle in the lower left, and a horizontal restoration of about 1 1/2 inches across the bottom of the same bottle. There are a couple of other isolated spots, but none of any significance. Most retouches could be reduced in scale. The condition would improve considerably if the work were properly restored.
