Condition

The canvas is not lined. There is a slight undulation throughout the canvas. There is some hairline craquleure to the proper right cheek of the dark-haired figure. There is frame abrasion and associated losses along the bottom edge. Under UV light: Strokes of inpainting are present in the background at upper right, in the hair of both figures, and along the bottom edge. A few possible strokes of inpainting to the upper left corner. The work is in overall good condition.
