Condition
The board is sound. There is a minor loss to the board in the lower right hand corner and some minor wear to the edges. There are some scratches throughout the composition, likely inherent to the medium and the artist's process. The surface is slightly dirty throughout and there is some minor staining to the center of the right edge. There are some extremely minor strokes of inpainting to the child's proper left arm and a couple of strokes to the left of the ball in the foreground. The work is in overall very good condition.
