Catalogue Note
The present Patek Philippe features a minute repeating mechanism with power reserve and subsidiary seconds in a rare mechanical and aesthetic format. Examples from Patek Philippe normally have the subsidiary seconds and power reserve indication in separate locations at 6 and 12 o’clock respectively. In the present lot the seconds and power reserve are combined at the bottom of the dial, a combination which can only be found in only a handful of pocket watches from Patek Philippe.
