Catalogue Note

With this technical masterpiece, A. Lange & Söhne created a dynamic watch with strong personality. The Datograph is the world's first chronograph based on the classic column-wheel principle with flyback, precisely jumping minute counter, and patented oversized date. The Datograph times events as long as 30 minutes with an accuracy of one-fifth of a second. The flyback function allows the chronograph to be instantaneously reset to zero during an ongoing measurement by simply pressing the lower button.

The technical finesse, and aesthetic beauty of Lange's cal. L951.1 movement is showcased through the non-reflective sapphire crystal display back.
