Catalogue Note

The Galet Micro-Rotor features an attractive but understated dial which belies a powerful in house caliber; the FBN 229.01. Though likely named for its impressive solid gold micro-rotor, it is the double direct-impulse escapement that ensures the highest level of efficiency. Within this escapement, two balance springs move in alternating beats fitted directly on the balance equipped with a silicon lever. This action helps to produce constant force, or more consistent timing throughout.  Laurent Ferrier perpetuates the outstanding nature of Swiss horology. Ferrier completed training at the Geneva Watchmaking school, and spent nearly four decades with one of the most prestigious manufacturers, Patek Philippe. After his final role as Patek Philippe's Creative Director, Ferrier founded his own brand dedicated to his vision of exceptional watchmaking.
