CASE The watch is in excellent overall condition and still retains with its strong fluted lugs and platinum hallmarks. The case with extremely minor signs of wear only. The watch must have been worn a handful of times only. The folding clasp is in excellent overall condition. DIAL The dial is in very good overall condition. MOVEMENT The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The calendar and chronograph functions are working properly. * Please note that the movement has not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's expense. Catalogue Note
The celebrated perpetual calendar chronograph reference 3970 wristwatch was launched in 1986 and discontinued in 2004. The reference is considered as a modern classic and is fitted with iconic sculpted lugs. The present platinum watch is fitted with a black dial and still retains with its strong fluted lugs and hallmarks. From the very last series of reference 3970 and offered in overall excellent condition, the present watch is complete with all original accessories.
