CASE Case in excellent overall condition with hardly any scratching or wear visible to the naked eye. The elongated stepped lugs have wonderful definition and crisp edges. The hallmark on the underside of the bottom right lug is present. DIAL The dial is in very good overall condition. The hour hands and hour markers were later coated with a black material for clearer legibility. It is believed this work was done through Patek Philippe after purchased, but is not confirmed. MOVEMENT Movement running at time of cataloguing, The watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping. Catalogue Note

Patek Philippe produced the reference 2429 for approximately five years, from 1948 to approximately 1943.  Only ten known watches with this reference exist in platinum, which makes this piece especially rare, and an excellent vintage addition to any connoisseur's collection.
