The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All functions are working. The bezel with minor surface wear visible with the naked eye, particularly at 10 o'clock. The band with minor signs of tarnishing. Otherwise the watch is in very good overall condition with minor signs of wear. The buckle is in very good overall condition with minor signs of wear. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. At the time when RM002 was released, it was state of the art, as it inaugurated the world's first use of a function indicator, in addition to being the first tourbillon built on a titanium baseplate. The function indicator is familiar to collectors today, but almost 20 years ago when the spec sheet was presented for this model, it was difficult to navigate. The watch furthermore features a curvaceous bezel that reveals the architectural interior in its entirely and the movement can be marveled from every angle.

The present watch is a fine example of Richard Mille's quest for innovation by turning a new page of watchmaking for all of his peers.
