Catalogue Note

Considering its age and the environment where it was used the present lot represents a wonderfully complete example of the reference 6152/1. Accompanied by the original diving log and letter this watch is gifted a fascinating context, confirming that Guiseppe Rasenti purchased his Panerai from the brand in 1958 in La Spezia, the historic naval centre of Italy. The watch is extremely well preserved and the dial is very attractive. The lumes have aged very consistently with the hands and give a massive reading on the Geiger counter. The case is also extremely crisp and in very original condition.
