Catalogue Note

Presented in 1971, available until the mid 1980s, the Rolex reference 6263 is one of the most popular and reliable watches of the last century. Due to its lasting production, this Daytona model has many different variations of dials and parts available on the market. The current 6263 contains a rare "Sigma Dial" as it is missing the big red Daytona letters above the hour registrar and includes two Sigma signs bracketing the "T Swiss T" at six o'clock. As many Rolexes were treated as tool watches, it is common to find examples which have had parts upgraded during a service, such as the present watch. The present watch maintains its status as a highly attractive and handsome piece for daily use and is in very nice condition.
