Catalogue Note

When the Sea-Dwellers were introduced to the market in the late 1960s, the Submariners were already able to reach an impressive depth of 200 meters/660 feet. However, the Sea-Dwellers were made specifically for professional divers like the True-Beat for doctors and Milgauss for scientists. The present watch preserved in very good overall condition is a reference 16600 made available from 1989 to 2009. Being the longest lasting Sea-Dweller reference, it has experienced the evolution of the luminous material made from tritium to Luminova to finally, the Super Luminova. As the dial is signed “Swiss Made”, the present watch features SuperLuminova numerals.
