Catalogue Note

The present watch is another fine example of Patek Phillipe's work during the Art Deco period. The octagonal case highlights a well-executed dial with a guilloche centrefield. The initials of its original owner, H.S, are engraved on the caseback of the pocket watch and the accompanying yellow pocket knife. The piercing design of the monogram and the meticulous patterns on this timepiece makes it an important token to the original owner. The watch is highlighted further by its very unusual case design and its state of preservation.
