Catalogue Note

‘Dome clocks’, or ‘Pendulettes,’ so named after their dome shaped cases and small size, were introduced in the 1950s and are still being produced today. However, perhaps in part to their complicated and sometimes delicate production processes, Patek Philippe dome clocks are very rare. The majority found at auctions might feature colourful cloisonné enameled cases or sometimes gilt cases with attractive applied and engraved abstract designs. This Patek Dome clock decorated with engraved geometric patterns offers unrivaled versatility and will suit any number of different settings or styles and is retained in very crisp and original condition.
