Catalogue Note

The reference 3700 was launched in 1976 with production lasting until 1998. The steel variants however ended production around 1986/1987 thus making them rarer and ultimately more desirable.

This particular example, as is readily seen, has experience some amount of degradation to the dial. Over time the blue finish has in parts faded or come away, revealing the brass plate beneath. The result however is far from unattractive and only serves to heighten the general aesthetic, making it truly one of a kind.

Though this watch has seen some wear in its time it remains wholly original, with its hands, dial and bracelet all being retained.
