The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The hands are oxidized and tarnished and the luminous is now a bright orange. The case with surface wear throughout that can be seen with the naked eye. The bracelet with surface wear. In 1981 Patek Philippe launched the mid-size Nautilus, reference 3800/1. The watch had a reduced diameter of 37.5 mm and provided an alternative to the already popular Jumbo. The watch also featured the new caliber 335 SC and was available in steel, gold and steel and gold. The present watch is further highlighted by the diamond-set numerals and its original Certificate of Origin.
