Catalogue Note

Consigned by the original owner while on holiday in Zurich, the watch has only been worn once or twice for special occasions. As such, the right hand side of the case has developed a very nice patina. The watch has also retained very crisp hallmarks underneath the lugs. The dial itself is in immaculate state of preservation. The reference 5020 has gained popularity in recent years and as all watch collectors know, very limited pieces were made due to its tepid responses at the time of production. Although the production numbers are not officially distributed by Patek Philippe, we believe the reference 5020 is one of the rarest perpetual calendar chronographs made by Patek Philippe in series and presents a very healthy investment opportunities for the collectors of fine watches.
