Catalogue Note

A unique piece constructed by a Geneva based english watchmaker, Peter Speake-Marin displays true horology excellence through the unique design of his dials to the complexity of the movement in his watches.

The present watch is in like new condition and it is a magnificent timepiece from the Speake-Marin's Renaissance collection. The watch features a complicated tourbillon movement with a minute repeating complication but in a skeletonised movement, which is an amazing feature that not many watchmakers can accomplish. Furthermore, the watch speaks quality. As each tiny movement is hand-polished, the numerals on the chapter ring is finished with black lacquer and all hands is carefully tinted to an uniform blue colour.

More importantly a unique engraved Venus can be viewed from the back of the case and hand engraved into the movement bridges by Swiss engrave Eddy Jaquet.
