The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The date function is working properly. The bezel with tiny pinhead dings at 12 o'clock and extremely minor signs of wear at places. The band and case back is in very good overall condition. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. In 1970s and early 1980s, Audemars Piguet decided to seek help from Gerald Genta in creating a watch that is simple, elegant and sporty despite the company’s stress from the quartz war. This decision had led to the creation of the now famous watch model “Royal Oak”.
The present Royal Oak offered is in very good overall condition and retains all of its original accessories.
