Catalogue Note

In 1943 Panerai had developed and designed a 52 mm diameter case for the Italian Navy, however, this watch was never actually produced and it was later given the name 'Mare Nostrum'.
The present watch manufactured by Panerai during the "Pre-Vendome" period in 1997 was released as a limited production with 3 types of dial in a 42mm case, PAM006 in a blue dial, PAM007 in a white dial and finally, the present watch PAM008 in a black dial.
In a very well preserved condition, the present watch not only has a very clean and original dial but also a thick and proportional case. Furthermore, it is complete with both guarantee certificate and presentation box.
