Condition

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in beautiful original condition. The calendar is advancing. The repeating is in phase with a lovely tone and clarity. The dial is intact and in lovely condition. The case is in lovely condition and is nice and heavy with only light surface wear, which is more than consistent with its age. The case with nice and tight hinges. The front lid with monogram and overall the watch is in great condition. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Catalogue Note

Made in 1911, this hunter case watch is absolutely exceptional. The case is very heavy and weighs 122.5 grams. The movement is of the highest grade made at the famous firm of A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte. The watch was made by Hugo Müller, who was the technical director of the company Deutsche Präzisions-Uhrenfabrik Glashütte eGmbH from 1918 to 1925. A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte manufactured close to 100,000 watches over its 100 years of history, however, only 7 including this present watch were made with a minute repeating, perpetual calendar, date, day and moon phases, highlighting the incredible rarity of this watch.
