The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The minute repeating is in phase with a nice tone and clarity. The dial is intact and very nice condition. The case is very heavy and nice and crisp with nice engine turning. The case has nice tight hinges. The watch with minor surface wear that is consistent with its age. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. This clock watch is in incredibly attractive condition and is fitted with a heavy gold case that is still incredibly crisp. Retailed by Marcks & Co., a luxury goods retailer in India, it is very possible that the movement, unsigned, can be attributed to Henri Grandjean, who made very high quality movements for Marcks & Co.
