Catalogue Note

In 1994, A. Lange & Söhne introduced the Tourbillon 'Pour le Mérite', the first wristwatch to include both a tourbillon and a fusée-and-chain transmission. Nearly one decade later, the Tourbograph 'Pour le Mérite' was launched in 2005. Along with the tourbillon and fusée-and-chain transmission, the firm added a split seconds chronograph complication, making the Tourbograph the most complicated watch in its oeuvre that lasted until the introduction of the 2013. For this special timepiece, A. Lange & Söhne had chosen to use honey gold as its case and it is an alloy used for only special models. In a limited edition of 51 pieces in platinum, and 50 pieces in honey gold, the Tourbograph renders aesthetics and technical mastery, making this piece an exceptional addition to any collection.
