Catalogue Note

Repeating watches strike the hour on demand by either a push piece or a bolt in the band. The minute repeating mechanism has two gongs, one low one for the hours and a high one for the minutes. The quarter hours are indicated by a succession of high and low tone. Further highlighting this openface minute repeating watch is that it is made specially for Spaulding & Co., the famous American retailer from Chicago. What further distinguishes this watch is the ulta-thin movement and one-quarter-plate caliber.
