Sotheby's is excited to offer an early version of this highly sought-after reference still in its original factory seal alongside the Certificate of Origin and presentation case. Reference 5712 was launched at Baselworld in March 2006 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus line, replacing the previous similar reference 3712. The present watch was sold only a few months later in November 2006 and still carries the Geneva seal on the movement instead of the later Patek Philippe seal introduced by the manufacturer in 2009.
