Catalogue Note

A. Lange & Söhne never fails to present an air of elegance and sophistication, combined with the precision of German watchmaking. The uncompromising mechanical movement of the Lange 1 captures the true essence of Glashütte; it was among the first four watches presented by the brand after its relaunch in 1994.  Established in 1845 by Ferdinand A. Lange, the brand ceased to exist in 1948 following the Soviet occupation after the Second World War. The Lange 1 now celebrates its 25th anniversary after the re-establishment of the company.

This timepiece showcases Roman numerals, a protective sapphire crystal glass and an open back, a feature that was later added to the request of collectors and clients in order to see the beautifully powerful movement. The watch comes in excellent condition.
