Catalogue Note

Fresh to the market, this Longines 'Doppia Lancetta' (which translates to 'double hand' from Italian) is offered by its original family. Reference 5699 stands out with its considerable case size, measuring 39.5 mm in diameter. At first glance the watch appears to be a split second chronograph, however the red central hand is in fact a minute counter, which differentiates this chronograph from others, making it considerably more complicated. The movement is the in-house calibre 13ZN and is considered to be one of the best chronograph movements ever made. Here it is presented in a very honest condition - this is an unique possibility to acquire one of the most sought after vintage steel chronographs on the market.
