Condition

MVT: running at the time of cataloguing. The day and date advancing. CASE: with wear throughout. Noticalble scuffs and minor denting to the band and lugs. The case retains healthy proportions however, and the hallmarks to the back are crisp and defined. Endlinks stamped 55. Bracelet with scuffs throughout and has warped with age. DIAL: in very good condition.

Catalogue Note

The present lot fitted with an onyx dial is afforded an almost unique depth. In stark contrast to the yellow gold case, the pitch black dial, reminiscent of the Art Deco, bears no indexes bolstering its depth and creating a very pleasing presence when worn.
