Catalogue Note

The Datejust reference 80298 is a great example of Rolex's ability to create luxurious and elegant everyday watches. Its 29mm yellow gold case is diamond-set for a total weight of 1.45 cts, while the eye-catching mother-of-pearl dial echoes the princess-cuts from the bezel. The Pearlmaster bracelet is part of the brand's most rarely seen creations and perfectly balances the overall warmth of the piece. The present nicely preserved yellow gold example was sold in Wempe on February 8, 2010. The timepiece is accompanied by its original presentation case and documentation in addition to the Wempe documentation dated from the same day.
Now discontinued by Rolex, this piece last retailed for approximately 45'000 CHF.
